THE STORY
The Double tile collection is inspired by Portland stone, a limestone conglomerate quarried on the eponymous island of the coast of Dorset. Widely used in architecture throughout the British Isles and in particular in many of London's historic buildings, the slabs can be either cross or vein cut to reveal two different yet complementary aesthetics.

Crush
Crush tile collection places the essence of the natural texture and its primary elements at the heart of the design approach: light, expressive and depth. A deliberately rough surface, like visual concrete, ideal for environments that seek out the mark of an authentic, contemporary, and essential style in the charm of industrial material.
VA604
VA604 porcelain tile is a characterized by linear veining patterns. Simulating the beauty of natural stone, the tile is ideal for classic and luxurious environments.
Bricola
The Ceramica Rondine tile collection takes its inspiration from the dream-like, charming beauty of the Venetian lagoon, a place with a thousand - year long history, where man and water have always lived together in a symbiotic relationship. It is precisely in this lagoon landscape, deep- rooted in its seabed, that we find one of Venice’s most symbolic elements: the briccola, the dolphin, the nautical structure that marks off the navigable areas of the canals, providing important information. The symbolic strength of this wood, its special, detail-packed worn appearance encompasses the history of the lagoon. The new Ceramica Rondine porcelain stoneware reproduces the surfaces of these pillars, submerged in and corroded by the water, with all their imperfect grooves, in a tile.
Mineral
The Mineral Chrom series, which features fully vitrified porcelain stoneware, was created in Casalgrande Padana’s laboratories in an on-going endeavor to propose pertinent and significant materials for our century; materials that can be used to embellish contemporary settings in both public and private spheres, with absolute respect for the environment. These tiles, strongly characterized by a variety of chromatic tones with three-dimensional structured effects none of which, as in nature, are ever the same as the others, are the result of a combination amongst advanced production processes, craftsman’s care and a knowing choice of raw materials. Similarly to Casalgrande Padana’s entire porcelain stoneware range, Mineral Chrom is a material that withstands bending, wear, abrasion, chemical aggression and thermal shock. It can therefore be used both indoors and outdoors, on floors and walls.
