Created by Architects and Designers Heins and Farge in 1904, the original Subway Tiles were made specially for the first subway station of New York City. The main advantage of the tile was that it does not stain and is easy to clean.
Today, this distinctive tile has inspired and form the foundation for many different looks and interiors. Here are some variations of the Subway Tiles that have evolved over the years.
